Gemma is an award winning writer, illustrator, and designer interested in nature, history and folklore. She loves experimenting with printmaking and collage, as well as drawing from historical influences and photography to recontextualise our past and future. Her personal work was part of the Earthly Beauty exhibition at Pound Arts in Corsham, and is on tour as part of the Lore and Land collective to Bristol Folk House and Field System in 2025.
Her personal projects include The Myconauts Magazine, a publication all about mycology, ecology, and community engagement. The Myconauts is currently stocked in magazine shops across the UK including Magalleria in Bath, Magculture in London, and Unitom in Manchester. Issue 1 was shortlisted for the The Wilfred Southall Sustainability Prize.
